A pleasure – cuisine at Eden

Healthy, local and delicious.

When you know where it comes from, it tastes even better. We at Eden know exactly where our food comes from: from the varied breakfast buffet to the afternoon snack and the four-course evening dinner we only serve the best that the Zillertal nature has to offer. Our junior chef Patrick conjures up everything Tyrol has to offer together with chef Franz. Of course, we can also go beyond local dishes and pamper you with delicious cuisine from all over the world. As good food also needs the right setting, you will enjoy your delicacies in our two cosy dining rooms or on our sun terrace with a view of the glacier. What about after dinner? We can meet for a glass of something at the bar.

7:00 - 9:30 am

Sustainability is important to us

Kitchen
  • We use regional and seasonal products to minimise transport distances. 
  • The dairy products come from the alpine dairy in Mayrhofen, 
  • Meat and fish are sourced from the butcher in Mayrhofen
  • The fresh bread comes from the local baker in Lanersbach. 
  • We reduce organic waste by adjusting the food sizes. 
  • We have a “Bewusst Tirol” certification, which stipulates that mainly local products are used in a restaurant. 
  • Our waste fat is used for biodiesel production. 
  • In summer the fresh herbs come from the Garden Eden.
Restaurant
  • We do not use plastic straws for drinks 
  • In summer the herbs for cocktails come from the Garden of Eden. 
  • The lighting in the restaurant is switched off between mealtimes. 
  • Our guests' snacks for hiking can be packed in paper bags or in their own snack box. 
  • At the buffet all ingredients are open, there are no separate portions.
